Czechia at the 47th Session of the UN Human Rights Council

The 47th Session of the UN Human Rights Council is held from 19 June to 15 July.
Czechia will take part in negotiations of all resolutions during the Session. As a Member State it will jointly present EU resolutions on the human rights situation in Belarus, Eritrea and Ethiopia.
During the Session, Czechia will take part in the following debates and dialogues:

- Interactive dialogue with Special Rapporteur on Belarus (5.7.2021)
- Interactive dialogue on the report of the High Commissioner on the situation in Venezuela (5.7.2021)
- Interactive dialogue with the Commission of Inquiry on Syria (6.7.2021)
- Interactive dialogue with Special Rapporteur on Myanmar (6.7.2021)
- Interactive dialogue on the oral update of the High Commissioner on Ukraine (9.7.2021)
- Interactive dialogue on the oral update of the Independent Expert on Central African Republic (9.7.2021)
Czechia is a member of the UN HRC for the term 2019 to 2021. Previously, it served as a Member during the first year of the Council’s existence (2006-2007) and from 2011 to 2014.
