LOCAL JURISDICTION
The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Manila accepts applications for Schengen visas and long-term visas and residence permits from citizens of the Philippines and long-term/permanent residents in the Philippines.
Filipino citizens need a visa for both short-term (up to 90 days) and long-term (over 90 days) stays in the Czech Republic / Schengen area. Holders of diplomatic passports (so-called "green passports") do not need a visa for short-term non-profit trips to the Czech Republic / Schengen area.
Applicants who are residents, not citizens, of the Philippines can apply for a long-term visa/residence permit at the consulate only if they have been living in the Philippines for at least 2 years. When booking an appointment, send a copy of your residence permit (nationalities not subject to this requirement are listed here). If you do not meet this condition, submit your application in your home country.
