Accepting documents certified by e-Apostille issued by the Philippines

In regards to the implementation of electronic apostille (e-Apostille) by the Republic of the Philippines, you may find instructions on how to submit documents certified in this way for procedures and submissions with our office.

Applications for long term visas, residence permits incl. employee card)

Filipino documents that require higher certification (Apostille) for submission of these application types are accepted even with an electronic apostille. However due to the principle of documentary (physical) submission, the document has to be submitted as a printed and translated form of the electronic document issued by Filipino authorities.

Printed document has to include all following parts:

  • e-Apostille cover sheet
  • apostille sheet (titled "Apostille")
  • complete apostilled document officially translated into the Czech language

Document has to be printed in un-altered form, readable and with clearly visible QR code that is possible to be authenticated.

In case the e-apostille is attached to a physical document which the applicant has in possession, it is necessary to bring the original document for review during the appointment.

It is not possible to submit the document by email, such a document will not be accepted. The Embassy also does not accept only the first page of the document (e-Apostille cover sheet), the entire document has to be submitted.

Birth, marriage and citizenship registry, passport and ID applications

The same rules mentioned above apply for other types of procedures filed with the Embassy, documents have to be submitted in the same form (printed) as described above.
