Opening of the Czech Visa Center in Dresden, Germany

As of May 2, 2023, the Visa Centre of the Consulate General of the Czech Republic in Dresden accepts applications for long-term visas and residence permits of non-EU citizens. No other consulate of the Czech Republic within the Schengen area will accept visa applications.

A foreigner who is a long-term/permanent resident in a Schengen area state or a European micro-state is entitled to lodge the application through Dresden Visa Centre. In addition, a foreigner who is a citizen of a country presented in the list of countries whose nationals are entitled to submit an application for a long-term visa at any Czech Embassy, is entitled to lodge the application through Dresden Visa Centre (Decree No. 429/2010 Coll.). It concerns especially the US and Canadian citizens.

Please note:

Registration takes place only on the specific dates starting at 8:00 a.m. CET, i.e. from the moment the registration, until the capacity of the visa centre is full.

 

 The dates for registering for lodging the visa applications in 2023 are set as follows:

26 April 2023 (for applications to be lodged in May)

15 and 29 May 2023 (for applications to be lodged in June)

12 and 26 June 2023 (for applications to be lodged in July)

17 and 31 July 2023 (for applications to be lodged in August)

14 and 28 August 2023 (for applications to be lodged in September)

11 and 25 September 2023 (for applications to be lodged in October)

16 and 30 October 2023 (for applications to be lodged in November)

13 and 27 November 2023 (for applications to be lodged in December)
