In support of employment of foreign workers, the Czech Republic implements special Economic Migration Programmes. Czech employers who are registered within these programmes can have their future employees submit visa / residence permit applications under an accelerated procedure. The lead government authority for these programmes is the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic.

The Czech Republic accepts foreign workers primarily through the stated Economic Migration Programmes. Foreign workers need to be registered under these programmes by their future Czech employer.

At the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Riyadh, the following types of applications can be submitted:

Family members of foreign workers included in the Programmes can submit applications for a long-term visa for family purposes or a residence permit for family reunification (with the blue card order or intra-company transfer employee only). Adult dependent children can apply for a long-term visa for study or other purposes.
