Trade & Economy – A message from the Economic Section of the Consulate

The mission of the Consulate General of the Czech Republic in Los Angeles is to facilitate the bilateral flow of goods, services and investments between the Czech Republic and the United States of America, in particular the US States on the West Coast that fall under our jurisdiction.

For the Czech Republic, a member of the European Union and NATO, the United States has been a No.1 exporting partner outside the European Union. The US companies have been a key source of vital investments into the Czech economy creating jobs and growths.

At the same time the United States is increasingly a preferred destination for Czech investments creating new jobs and opportunities here in the US. Mutual trade and investment partnership also facilitate the exchange of know-how and innovations.

The Czech national trade promotion agency is an official contact partner for those foreign companies looking for qualified Czech-based suppliers of products, providers of services or investors. The main goal of the agency is to facilitate exports from the Czech Republic.

2. CzechInvest

CzechInvest is a Czech national business and investment development agency with a mission to advise and support existing and new entrepreneurs and foreign investors in the Czech Republic.

3. Embassy of the Czech Republic in Washington DC

The Economic Section of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Washington provides a central commercial office for the Czech mission in the US in order to further ease the promotion of Czech exports to the United States, US investments in the Czech Republic and Czech investments in the U.S. The Office also assists in facilitating efficient bi-lateral trade relations.
