On September 27th the Ljubljana’s House of Culture became the scene for another event of the Central European Cultural Platform, which strives to introduce cultural projects from Central Europe in other countries all around the world. This specific concert was aimed at World and Jazz music, which was performed by Hungarian Polygon Trio, Slovak Pacora Trio, Czech Kon Sira, Polish Volosi, Austrian Edi Nulz and also Slovenian jazz band of Robert Lukič called Gomme de Jour, which was a special guest only to this specific concert.
The performances celebrated the fifteenth anniversary of the Platform. The reason for organizing the whole event on Slovenian soil was the fact that Slovenia used to be a member of the platform in the recent past. The concert attracted huge interest on the part of the Slovenian audience. Especially the Czech band Kon Sira thrilled the audience with its melodic vocals. The Kon Sira band is focused on specific interpretations of traditional Balkan songs, especially those of the Sephardic Diaspora. In Ljubljana the Czech band appeared in the following composition:
- Kateřina García – vocals
- Barbara García – vocals
- Luboš Malina – banjo, clarinet, tarogato, kaval
- Predrag Duronjić – guitar, vocals
- Tomáš Liška – bass
