Czech nationals whose money has been lost or stolen may contact their families or friends in the Czech Republic and ask them to send the money via specialised money transfer services (MoneyGram, Western Union, etc.). These companies generally provide relatively fast transfers; however, the speed and availability of the transfer depend on the method of payment, conditions in the destination country or the method of verifying the identity of the recipient.   

If a national is unable to solve the situation, the honorary consulate can offer advice and help, for example, contact the local police in order to obtain a police report on the theft and help organise the transfer of money from the national's relatives or friends.  In any case, the honorary consulate does not provide financial assistance.
