February 19–21, 2025: Visit of the Minister of Interior

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Vít Rakušan, together with a delegation from the Ministry of the Interior, visited Finland at the invitation of Finnish Minister of the Interior Mari Rantanen. After bilateral talks, they visited the Vaalimaa border crossing, where they were able to see the newly built border fence in the most exposed areas of the Finnish-Russian border. The delegation also visited Helsinki's largest civil defense shelter, Merihaka, and the European Center of Excellence for Countering Hybrid Threats, where discussions focused on countering disinformation, preventing election interference, and protecting critical infrastructure.

April 28–30, 2025: Visit of the Constitutional and Legal Committee of the Chamber of Deputies

A delegation from the Constitutional and Legal Committee of the Chamber of Deputies went on a working trip to gather ideas and experiences for the reform of the Criminal Code currently under discussion in Czechia. During the visit, the parliamentary delegation led by Committee Chair Radek Vondráček met with its partner committees in the Finnish Parliament, specifically the Legal Affairs Committee and the Constitutional and Legal Affairs Committee. It also held talks with the leadership of the Ministry of Justice and the Prison and Probation Service. It also visited the Supreme Administrative Court and the non-profit organization RETS – Life Without Crime, which helps not only convicts but also their families. 

May 13–15, 2025 Visit of the Senate Committee on Health

During a three-day working visit, a delegation of senators from the Health Committee, led by Committee Chair Tomáš Fiala, learned about Finland's experience in collecting, analyzing, managing, and using electronically stored health data and sharing it among different healthcare providers and users. Another topic of discussion was how to deal with common problems such as a shortage of healthcare staff and an aging population. The delegation also met with representatives of the University of Helsinki, the management of the public health and social insurance institution Kela, and representatives of the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL). Lastly, the delegation met with the partner committee of the Finnish Parliament and colleagues from the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health.
