Certified Translation for Visa Application Purposes
The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Hanoi does not provide translations from Vietnamese into Czech or vice versa, nor does it certify them. For the purposes of a visa application, it is therefore necessary to use an official (sworn) translator.
In connection with the certification/legalization of translations, please note that, based on legislative changes, a large number of translators lost their authorization to perform translation and interpreting activities as of 1 January 2026. The validity of a translator’s authorization can be verified through the Register of Experts, Interpreters, and Translators.
