CONSULAR DAYS IN HO CHI MINH CITY: The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Hanoi organizes consular days in Ho Chi Minh City 1-2 times/year. For appointment, send an e-mail to hanoi.consulate@mzv.gov.cz and state the consular service you are interested in. 

WORKING LANGUAGES: The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Hanoi communicates in Czech and English when processing visa and residence permit applications. If the applicant understands neither of these languages, he/she must arrange for an interpreter when applying for a long-term visa / residence permit, at his/her costs. Examinations are conducted in Czech only. If the applicant does not speak Czech, he/she must arrange for an interpreter for the purposes of examination, at his/her costs.

PUBLIC HOLIDAYS: In 2024, the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Hanoi is closed to the public on the following Czech and Vietnamese holidays: January 1, February 8-9, February 12-14, March 29, April 1, April 18, April 29-30, May 1, May 8,  July 5, September 2-3, October 28, December 24-26
