Small Scale Local Projects
Small Scale Local Projects are an instrument of bilateral development cooperation of the Czech Republic. The aim of the Small Scale Local Projects is to support the development activities of a smaller range of local entities in the given countries. Smaller activities include, for example, supply of equipment or materials or technology, training, support for development activities of local institutions and organizations etc. Small Scale Local Projects are implemented by local implementers directly in the developing country in cooperation with the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Addis Ababa.
Small Scale Local Projects, which are supported by the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Addis Ababa, have been an integral part of the Czech Republic's development cooperation since 2006.
The purpose of the Small Scale Local Projects is to support local entities (state institutions, academic institutions, civil society, charities, NGOs, etc.) in their development activities, which are in line with the national development strategy. Projects can be implemented in various areas - especially in health, education, social services, agriculture and environmental protection.
