VISA APPLICANTS - Book an Appointment with the Czech Consulate in Toronto

Visa applicants need to schedule an appointment with the visa section at the Czech Consulate in Toronto. Visa related phone calls will not be answered. Please use only the e-mail communication.
Appointments can only be scheduled on Monday - Thursday between 9 am and 12 am – excluding holidays.

Note: Appointment can not be booked over the phone and the email is the only communication tool for requesting appointments. To the e-mails requesting information that can be found on our website will not be replied.
All the information including forms needed to be submitted with your application is posted on www.mzv.cz/toronto - Visa and Residency Information. Please read the information provided thoroughly before you make the appointment.
Ensure that you book an appointment for each individual applying for a visa. Meaning, if you and a family member(s) are applying, you must book TWO or more appointments.
When requesting an appointment please provide the following information:
1. Name, surname, nationality of the applicant and the type of visa you request
For the Schengen (short-term) visa up to 90 days please attach:
2. The purpose of the travel including the exact travel plan, so that we can assess whether our Consulate General is the competent authority to decide on your application. If you plan to visit more Schengen countries, convey exact dates of stay in each country.
3. the copy of your Canadian long term visa (please bear in mind that the visa has to be issued for at least 1 year to be eligible to submit the application) or permanent residency card in Canada,
4. the copy of the document proving that you reside within the territory of our consular jurisdiction.
Application for a Schengen (short-term) visa may be filed within 6 months before the planned trip. The application must be submitted at least 15 days before the planned travel, if it is made later, the consulate has the authority to refuse it. An application submitted at a later date may not be processed in time. Passport can be mailed to you if you provide a prepaid envelope with your address and a tracking number during your interview.
In most cases, visa applications are processed within 15 days. In exceptional cases, the examination period can be extended up to 45 days.
Type of Visa you are applying for: Schengen Visa, Long Term Visa, Long Term Residence Permit, Employee Card, EU Blue Card , Permanent Residence Permit
Please allow 24 hours to reply to your email; therefore, request your appointment accordingly.
Be on time for your appointment, as you will forfeit your turn when coming late and would need to reschedule.
Consulate General of the Czech Republic in Toronto will process application for residents of Ontario (except the districts in jurisdiction of the Embassy in Ottawa), Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan.
