Visit of the Czech representatives to Sweden

The State Secretary of the Ministry of Defense of the Czech Republic Mr. Daniel Koštoval together with the representatives of Defense and Security Industry Association of the Czech Republic (DSIA) visited Sweden.

Visits of the Swedish representatives to the Czech Republic

May 16

The Czech Republic and Sweden signed the new JAS 39 Gripen contract in a Gripen hangar at the Czech airbase in Čáslav. The contract means that the Czech Republic will continue to lease 14 Gripen aircraft until at least 2027.

In connection with this event there was a Swedish delegation to the Czech Republic leading by the Swedish State Secretary of the Ministry of Defense Carl von der Esch, the Air Force commander Major General Michael Bydén and the Director of the Swedish Defense and Security Export Agency (FXM) Ulf Hammarström.
