The Day of War Veterans

Ambassador Jiří Šitler, together with other members of the diplomatic corps visited the Anglican Church of St. Peter and St. Sigfrid in Stockholm for the worship to commemorate war veterans and all the victims of the wars on Sunday, November 12, 2017.

The Day of War Veterans is also commemorated every year in the Czech Republic, on the anniversary date of the armistice ending the First World War in 1918, on November 11.
