Curator Lucie Černá reviewed artistic portfolios at Centrum för fotografi on Wednesday, April 9, 2025. Participants had the opportunity to present their photographs and discuss their projects with her for a small fee.
About the Curator
Lucie Černá is a curator, editor, and publisher based in Prague. She takes a holistic approach to her work, focusing on core concepts that define an artwork's essence. Her practice is characterized by close personal collaboration with artists, helping them deepen their artistic exploration.
One of her most notable collaborations is with Libuše Jarcovjáková, with whom she has worked for almost eight years.
Lucie is also the founder of ‘untitled’, an independent publishing house and platform for photography and visual arts. Books published by ‘untitled’ have received major international recognition, including nominations for the Paris Photo-Aperture Foundation PhotoBook Awards and the Deutsche Börse Photography Foundation Prize.
About the Event
During 20‑minute sessions with Lucie Černá — held either online via Zoom or in person at Centrum för fotografi — participants received feedback on up to ten selected images from their portfolios.
The event was open to Centrum för fotografi members for a registration fee of 50 SEK. (More information about membership could be found here.)
