Schengen visas

You can only request an appointment for your visa application via email singapore.consulate@mzv.gov.cz.

It is the candidate's responsibility to request an appointment only when they are able to present all the required documents and well in advance of their trip.

In the e-mail, please include the following scanned documents:

  • - proposed travel itinerary
  • - passport
  • - Singaporean ID card / Work Pass, alternatively: state the reason you apply at our Embassy without being resident in Singapore

Usually, the appointments are given within a 14-day period after all the afore-mentioned 3 requirements have been delivered to the Embassy by e-mail. Due to high demand in some parts of the year the appointment may be given in 14 or more days’ time since the request sent by e-mail. Please allow sufficient time for this before your intended trip.

Detailed information about Schengen visas can be found here: Schengen visas.

Large-scale events

If organizing or participating in a large-scale event in Czechia – such as an international sport event, congress, conference and other – for a large group of participants with visa obligation, do contact us sufficiently in advance.

To process these applications smoothly and in time, we ask for your cooperation in observing these organizational rules:

  • - inform us at least 2-3 months prior to the event – preferably earlier and certainly not later
  • - provide a more or less finalized list of participants
  • - prepare a uniform itinerary for all participants – common arrival and departure date, no additional unrelated deviations from the uniform itinerary (for example without additional travel in the Schengen by some members of the group only)
  • - appoint a contact person who will communicate with the consulate on behalf of participants

Due to other workload and the need to effectively plan and organize our work, large group applications may only be processed in time when granting this necessary cooperation.

Long–term visas and permits (Except of employee cards and long–term seasonal employment)

Applicants for other types of long-term visas need to schedule an appointment in advance by sending us an email to singapore.consulate@mzv.gov.cz requesting an appointment. In the subject of the email, specify “Long-Term Visa” as a reason for the appointment with a visa officer.
