IMPORTANT NOTICE: Applicants who do not have a valid visa for travel to the Schengen area for the required period must first apply for a visa. 

It is strongly advised to apply for the Firearms Waybill at least 10 days before the planned trip (it is preferable to submit the application in time advance up to 2 months before departure). The Embassy can not guarantee release of the Waybill in less than 10 days.

The Embassy can only issue Firearms Waybill for the territory of the Czech Republic. For transit/stay in any other Schengen Member state it is necessary to contact the office of the respective country.

How to apply for Firearms Waybill:

Application for Firearms Waybill has to be submitted in person at the Embassy upon confirmed appointment. For appointment, please send a registration email to the following address: manila.visa@mzv.gov.cz (in email subject put “Firearms Waybill”).

The applicant has to submit following requirements:

• Filled out and signed application form (PDF, 184 KB)
• Valid passport and copy of passport data page
• Copy of a valid visa for the Schengen area valid for the whole period of the competition/hunt
• Certified invitation for sporting competition/hunt for the specific period
• License to Own and Possess Firearms (original and a copy)
• Permit to Carry Firearms Outside of Residence (original and a copy)
• Firearms registration – for each firearm (original and a copy)
• Application fee

Only a complete application will be accepted by the Embassy. Applicants will be informed about the schedule for release of the Waybill upon submission.
