They had the opportunity to enjoy Czech folklore, including a welcome with bread and salt, classical music of composers Antonín Dvořák and Bedřich Smetana, as well as Czech cuisine and drinks. Ambassador Marie Chatardová opened the evening with a speech in which she evaluated the common character traits of Czech and British society as well as the mutual relationship between the two states.
