Czech Films at “East by Southeast“ Film Festival

This year's East by Southeast Film Festival, which will take place in Copenhagen on 7 – 30 November 2019, will introduce three Czech films.
Helena Třeštíková’s documentary Forman vs. Forman, a highly resourceful portrait of the Oscar-winning Czech director Miloš Forman, was selected for the festival program. Furthermore, there will be presented a dramatic comedy On the Roof by director Jiří Mádl and a film by Slovak director Marko Škop Let There Be Light made in Czech-Slovak coproduction.
Forman vs. Forman – Tuesday 12th November at 7:15 pm
On the Roof – Monday 25th November at 7 pm
Let There Be Light - Saturday 30th November at 7 pm
This film festival intends to present to the Danish audience contemporary feature and documentary films from Central and Eastern Europe, which usually do not get an opportunity to be shown within common distribution. This year the festival offers total thirteen films from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, Latvia, Estonia, Bulgaria and Georgia.
