On September 22, the Embassy of the Czech Republic hosted another film night at I-Cinema. Within the framework of a series of cultural events organized on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Czechoslovakia, a film by director Julius Šečvík "Masaryk", which in February 2017 as part of the main program of the Berlinale Film Festival was awarded with 12 Czech Lions, was screened by a number of Mongolian guests.
The film recalls the historical events of the late 1930s and the struggle for the future of its own country, led by then Czechoslovak ambassador to Great Britain and later Minister of Foreign Affairs Jan Masaryk.
At the beginning of the film evening, Czech Ambassador to Mongolia, Jiří Brodský, presented guests with the 100th anniversary celebration of Czechoslovakia, reminding the personality of Jan Masaryk and the historical context of the Munich Conference.
