Development of Institutionalised Agriculture Extension Services in Dornogobi Aimag

Based on the outcomes of the previous project "Alternative solutions to the development of plant production in arid regions of Mongolia" a follow-up project will continue with our activities in Dornogobi. The project is focused on the development of consulting services and distribution of agriculture inputs. The specific project objectives are: 1) Establishing and providing facilities for the counselling centre (office, warehouse, technical facilities and equipment, growing area, greenhouse and water source) on the basis of site selection with regard to long-term sustainability. 2) Provisions of the consulting system in Dornogobi with the prospect of institutionalisation within the governmental or non-governmental structures. 2) The implementation of specific development, consulting, consultancy and demonstration activities of the centre. The project is implemented through a grant.
