Long-term visa / residence permit for purpose of studies

Due to the high demand for this purpose the dedicated email for registration has been created. All requests for appointments should be only sent to tehran.studies@mzv.gov.cz.

We point out, that all attempts for mass requests for registrations using specialized software could be regarded as spam by the security measures of the mzv.cz website in order to maintain function for all clients. Such requests will be disregarded.

See the following table for the next booking period. Requests submitted before the booking time will be disregarded. All requests will recieve automatic reply with confirmation and status of your request. Once the booking is full it is necessary to wait for the next period, please check the correct time carefully.

The email must contain following items:

• Scanned copy of the passport data page (pdf format)
• Scanned copy of document of purpose of stay/residency - certificate of study (pdf format)
• Name, date of birth, passport number, email, telephone number
• Type of permit - residence permit or long term visa
• The subject of the email must only contain passport number!

​Applicants with citizenship other than Iranian should attach a proof of their residency in Iran for the last 2 years (e.g. a scan of their residence permit).

Requests lacking some of the information mentioned above or duplicate requests will be disregarded. The rule is: one email = one applicant.

In case all the slots are filled in it is necessary to wait for the next booking period. The Embassy does not interfere with the order of delivered e-mails in any way, the Embassy does not alter or influence the queue. In case the applicant cannot attend his given appointment, he/she has to request a new appointment in the standard manner.

After Your Appointment Has Been Scheduled:

Please note that you must complete the correct application form according to the type of visa you are applying for. In addition, all documents submitted on the day of your visa appointment must be legalized and officially translated into Czech in advance; it is not possible to complete these procedures on the same day as your visa appointment. Furthermore, one copy of each document must be provided to the Embassy at the time of visa submission.
