The Ambassador visited Malmö

On 17th November, the Ambassador Jiří Šitler together with the Defence Attaché Brigadier General Libor Štefánik and the Director of CzechTrade Scandinavia Vítězslav Blažek visited Malmö.
They were accompanied by the Honorary Consul in Malmö, Kateřina Strömsholm. Together they met the President of the City Council, Kent Andersson, and paid tribute to Czechoslovakian citizens who died in Malmö after the evacuation from the Nazi Germany in 1945.
The Ambassador and the Honorary Consul held a reception at the occasion of the Struggle for Freedom and Democracy Day. The president of the city council, Kent Andersson and other eminent representatives of the region were presented, including the consular corps and members of the Czech community in southern Sweden.
