Ambassador visited Uppsala

Ambassador Jana Hynková visited officially Uppsala on February 13, 2013.
Ambassador Hynková met Governor of the Uppsala County Mr. Peter Egardt; they talked about the possibilities for mutual regional and project cooperation between Sweden and the Czech Republic. Mrs. Ambassador further talked with Vice Rector of the Uppsala University and Vice-Chancellor of the Swedish Agriculture University (SLU) about deeper universities and research and scientific cooperation between Uppsala and some Czech universities or scientific institutes. Mrs. Ambassador was welcomed in the Uppsala Innovation centre UIC AB and in Ångström Laboratories as well. She went trough a guided tour in the University Library Carolina Rediviva and had a look at the famous Codex argenteus. Mrs. Ambassador met the Czech compatriots and university students living in Uppsala at the end of her visit of the city.
