The Czech Embassy organized a concert of classical music on the occasion of the Czech Presidency to the EU, the Europe Day and the 5th anniversary of the EU enlargement in 2004.
The Czech Embassy organized a concert of classical music on the occasion of the Czech Presidency to the EU, the Europe Day and the 5th anniversary of the EU enlargement in 2004. The concert took place in the Small Hall in the Oslo Konserthus on Tuesday 5 May 2009. More then 200 guests were welcome by the Ambassador Luboš Nový and 11 musicians performed. Four Norwegian students of piano professor Jiří Hlinka presented the music of W. A. Mozart, B. Smetana, L. Janáček and M. Ravel. Young musicians, students and teachers from Kutná Hora Music and Art school played piano, guitar, flute, violin and violoncello. World premiere of piano piece from Norwegian composer Filip Sande was played by Kateřina Škarková.
