Since 2004, trade and commerce between the Czech Republic and Norway/Iceland are regulated by the Agreement on the European Economic Area (EEA). The agreement brings together, in a single EEA market, the EU Member States and Iceland & Norway (as EFTA States). Furthermore, the Czech Republic and Norway concluded an agreement on the mutual promotion and protection of investments.

According to Czech statistics of trade, Norway has been ranking around 25th place globally in terms of the price of exports from the Czech Republic. The statistics of Iceland show the Czech Republic as 20th largest importer of goods.
