Visa centers offer the applicants greater comfort and flexibility when submitting visa applications. They also provide the applicants from destinations remote from the capitals, where diplomatic missions are usually located, with the option to submit their visa applications closer to home. Visa centers often also accept visa applications without prior appointment.  

Visa centers accept only Schengen (short-term) visa applications.

At present Czech visa centers in China offer their services in the following cities: Chengdu, Chongqing, Hangzhou, Kunming, Guangzhou, Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Xian, Nanjing, Wuhan.

The Consulate General of the Czech Republic in Chengdu covers the visa centers in Shanghai, Zhejiang and Nanjing.

The possibility of applying for the Short-term (Schengen) visa directly at the Consulate is limited only to the Family members of EU citizens (subject to a prior appointment). If necessary, please use our email address chengdu@embassy.mzv.cz to book an appointment.

The family members of EU citizens can also use the services of the visa centers, however, the center's service fee applies.
