President Levits thanks to participating countries of eFP NATO in Latvia

During the reception at Riga Castle President of Latvia Mr. Egils Levits expressed his thanks to allied forces and countries for their contribution to the Latvian national security.
President Levits met with Commander and commanding officers of Headquarters Multinational Division North, and commanding officers and ambassadors of NATO enhanced Forward Presence (eFP) Battle Group Latvia countries. President Levits said: ‘I am proud to welcome our allies from Canada, Albania, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Germany, Italy, Lithuania, Montenegro, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and our strategic partner the United States of America. This is not an ordinary mission. This mission is crucial for ‘the security of Latvia and the whole Alliance.’
