From  March 30 to April 2, with the support of Riga’ City Council,  State Cultural Foundation of Latvia, the Goethe Institute, the Danish Cultural Institute, the French Cultural Institute and the Embassies of the Czech Republic, the Slovak Republic and Hungary the screening of fairy tales and animated movies for children took place in Riga's K-Suns (Kinogalerija) Riga cinema. On March 31 and April 2, the Czech fairy tale Lotrando and Zubejda by Karel Smyczek (1996) was screened. The simultaneous translation into Latvian was provided by Māris Delveris and Olga Lobko from the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Latvia.
