Long-term Visa

A long-term visa is issued to applicants who intend to stay on the territory of the Czech Republic for more than 90 days. The visa is issued for maximum of one year and can be renewed on the Czech territory. The purpose of the long-term visa may be e.g. study, business, health, culture, sports, scientific research and family reunification. This type of visa allows its holder to visit and stay in other countries of the Schengen area for the maximum period of 90 days within any 180-day period.
