- The Consular section handles ALL VISA APPLICATIONS BY APPOINTMENT ONLY (via email).

- Applies for verifications of Translation/Copy/Signature.
Consular section is closed to public during national holidays of the Czech Republic.

Blue Card applications: An appointment via email is needed.
All other long term visa and long term residence permit purposes, such as study, scientific research, family unification: An appointment via email is needed. See detailed information on long term visa and long term residence permit applications.
EU family members: Can submit their short-term visa applications at VFS Global or directly at the Embassy of the Czech Republic - an appointment via email is needed.
You can submit request for an appointment at the Embassy via email at manila.visa@mzv.gov.cz (visa agenda) or manila.consular@mzv.gov.cz (consular agenda - registry, passport and citizenship agenda).
Who needs visa?
Citizens of the Philippines and Nauru are subject to visa requirement for short-term (up to 90 days) stay in the Czech Republic/ Schengen area and long-term (over 90 days) stay in the Czech Republic.
Citizens of the Marshall Islands, the Federated States of Micronesia and the Republic of Palau are not subject to visa requirement for short-term (up to 90 days) stay in the Czech Republic/ Schengen area, if the purpose of the trip is not a gainful activity. Citizens of Marshall Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, Republic of Palau and Nauru are subject to visa requirements for long-term stays (over 90 days).
With which Embassy to apply with?
If the Czech Republic is the only or main destination of your travel to the Schengen area, apply for Schengen (short-term) visa with the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Manila. Citizens of the Philippines, the Marshall Islands, the Federated States of Micronesia, the Republic of Palau, and Nauru may apply for a long-term visa/residence at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Manila, the state that issued their travel document or in a state where they have long-term or permanent residence permit.
How to apply for short term visa?
Short term visa submission through VFS Global Center
Applicants for short term visa (up to 90 days) and Czech Government Program for the Phillipines Empolyee Card who traveling to the Czech Republic are requested to submit their visa applications at the VFS Global Center:
