Operation Anthropoid: The British Perspective on the Assassination of Reinhard Heydrich - a talk by military historian Mark Seaman, MBE

On Thursday, 22 May, the Embassy hosted a talk by the acclaimed military historian Mark Seaman, MBE, entitled 'Operation Anthropoid: A British Perspective on the Assassination of Reinhard Heydrich'.
Mr Seaman has specialised in the study of intelligence and special operations for over forty years, with a particular focus on the Special Operations Executive (SOE). The lecture was held to mark the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II and the 83rd anniversary of Operation Anthropoid.
Mark Seaman introduced the audience to the entire process of planning and executing one of the war's most successful special operations and emphasised the British aspect of the entire mission.
