On May 29, 2019, representatives of the Finnish travel agencies met in the premises of the Czech Embassy in Helsinki on an event promoting the Central European region.
The Central European region was presented to representatives of Finnish travel agencies by the Embassies of Czechia, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia. Each Embassy introduced landmarks, interesting facts and presented different regions of individual countries including a short video.
After the presentations, there was a possibility for B2B negotiations during which the participiants could taste Central European specialties, such as Hungarian "pogáčky", Polish sausages, Czech Moravian cookies or Slovak Bryndza.
