The Honorary Consul of the Czech Republic in Oulu was appointed  for the next 5 years Mr  Juha Laakkonen, CEO of the Kaleva. The opening speech was given by the Ambassador Ivan Jukl, who handed  over  the official documents issued by the Czech and Finnish Ministry of Foreign Affairs to  Mr. Laakkonen. He expressed great pleasure that he can continue in the activity of the former CEO of Kaleva, who was the Honorary Consul of the Czech Republic  in 1996-2008.  Honorary Consulate is located in the Kaleva headquarters in Oulu.
