
Czech String Quartet Wihan at the Kauniainen Music Festival

On Sunday, October 30 at 7 p.m., a world famous Wihan Quartet performed on the first day of Kauniainen Music Festival.
The Wihan Quartet has been described by International Record Review as: ‘ one of the best quartets in the world today.’ The Quartet is celebrating 30 years since its formation in 2015 and over the years it has developed an outstanding reputation for the interpretation of its native Czech heritage, and of the many classical, romantic and modern masterpieces of the string quartet repertoire.
Wihan Quartet consists of Leoš Čepický (violin), Jan Schulmeister (violin), Jakub Čepický (viola) and Aleš Kaspřík (cello). These four outstanding musicians will play on the first day of the Kauniainen Music Festival, Sunday, October 30, at 7 pm in the New Pavilion in Kauniainen.
