A very special exhibition of pictures from the WWI showing an everyday life of the soldiers and ordinary people during the war can be seen throughout April and May respectively in the Grote Kerk in Beverwijk.
The exhibition is unique in itself as these more than one hundred pictures were hidden from the world for over 90 years and could only recently find their way to daylight thanks to a happy coincidence. The opening ceremony was held on 16 April in the presence of HE Ms Jana Reinišová, the ambassador of the Czech Republic to the Netherlands.
When: April 16th – May 17th
Where: Grote Kerk, Kerkstraat 37, Beverwijk
