The Consulate General provides the following consular services – only by prior appointment on erbil.consulate@mzv.gov.cz. Please make sure you have your valid travel passport with you.

• Superlegalization: for an official Iraqi document translated to the English or Czech language, whose validity had been verified by an official stamp of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iraq, the Consulate General provides a confirmation of the authenticity of the Iraqi MFA stamp, thereby allowing the document to be used in legal and administrative procedures in Czechia. Please make sure that any document submitted for superlegalization has been properly verified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iraq. Maximum processing time is 30 days after submission.

• Verification of signature: The Consulate General provides a confirmation of the authenticity of an applicant’s signature on a document. To enable verification of a signature, the applicant must sign the document in person in front of a consular officer, according to his/her instructions.

• Verification of a copy of a document: the Consulate General provides a confirmation that the content of a physical copy of a document matches the original. The applicant must present both the original and the copy of the document.
