The state-subsidised Czech Tourist Authority - CzechTourism was established in 1993 to give publicity to the Czech Republic as an attractive tourist destination.

CzechTourism´s support to incoming and domestic tourism is focused mainly on the propagation of specific areas of tourism such as spas, Czech cuisine, congressional and incentive tourism, and golf, as well as other themes: eventful history, and pleasant and active holidays.

CzechTourism offices represent the Czech Republic in 25 countries. The office in London services both the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland.
