International Holocaust Memorial day - January 27, 2021: Invitation to an on-line event

We invite you to an on-line event organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Israel to commemorate the International Holocaust Memorial Day.
On January 27, the world commemorates the International Holocaust Memorial Day, which was announced at the 42nd Plenary Session of the UN General Assembly on November 1, 2005. The day is a memento of the suffering of approximately six million Jews, 220,000 Gypsies, 15,000 homosexuals and millions of other innocent victims during World War II.
The on-line event will take place on January 27, 2021 from 4 P. M. CET via the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Facebook page.
The event will be enhanced with a video clip premiere of the set-to-music poem "Myška", written by three boys: Miroslav Koška, Hanuš Löwy and Bedřich Eli Bachner, who went through the Ghetto Terezín.
