Programme of the visit included consultations with the partner committee in the Danish Folketing, but also meetings with the representatives of Danish Ministry of Employment and one of the Jobcentres in Copenhagen. The delegation also visited Aarhus, where they had an opportunity to discuss regional social policy from the perspective of local government. The meetings included work lunch with the Lord Mayor of Aarhus.

The main aim of the visit were discussions with the relevant partners and exchange of experience in the area of state’s social policy, especially in relation to the promotion of employment, equal opportunities and remuneration of men and women, employment of the handicapped citizens, flexible working arrangements or pensions scheme.
