Partnership between primary schools

The primary school in the Czech town of Neratovice, which is named after the first Czechoslovak ambassador to the Kingdom of Denmark, Mr Miroslav Plesinger-Božinov, began a mutual cooperation with Stavnsholtskolen in Farum.

Miroslav Plesinger-Božinov was a diplomat who gained recognition for Czechoslovakia, a newly created democratic state, in Denmark. Thanks to the establishment of the Czechoslovak diplomatic representation in 1920, the Kingdom of Denmark has decided to reciprocate and since May 1921 has had its diplomatic representation at the level of ambassador in Prague. Therefore, the cooperation of Miroslav Plesinger-Božinov primary school with the Danish partner institution has, in addition to the practical projects, also a symbolic level.
