Meeting with members of the Danish Parliament

On 27 April 2015, the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Denmark, Jiří Brodský, held a working lunch for the members of the Public Accounts Committee of the Danish Parliament, who are to visit the Czech Republic on 6-7 May 2015. The Chairman of the Committee, Mr Peder Larsen led the delegation, and Ms Lone Strøm, the Chairwoman of the National Audit Office was among the eminent guests.
The Ambassador informed and updated the Danish partners on the political and economic situation in the Czech Republic, on the memberships and activities of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, including that of the Public Accounts Committee, and also about the positions of the Czech Republic on current foreign-policy issues. The Danish guests were interested in debating topics related EU structural funds, the prospects of the Czech Republic acceding to the Eurozone and Banking union, and in the activities of the Czech Supreme Audit Office.
