European Glass Context 2008 forms part of a biennial symposium for European Contemporary glass and ceramics
European Glass Context 2008 forms part of a biennial symposium for European Contemporary glass and ceramics. This biennial symposium takes place on the Island of Bornholm, Denmark in September and October 2008.
For the first time this event presents contemporary European glass. Through exhibitions, conference, workshops, master classes and a technical display an opportunity will arise to discuss and experience the situation of European glass today.
All of the 27 members of the European Union are participating, as well as Iceland, Norway and Switzerland.
3 exhibitions present artists and designers from 30 European Countries in the categories: Established artists, Emerging artists and Industrial Design.
The prizewinners were announced at the opening of the exhibitions on the 13th of September 2008.
