The exhibition is presented on the occasion of this year's edition of the Danish translation of Čapek's book Travels in the North by prof. Peter Bugge, Bohemist from the Aarhus University.

Karel Čapek’s works were translated into many languages and the author was several times nominated to the Nobel Prize for Literature. In his books and newspaper articles, Čapek promoted the ideals of democracy and humanism.

The exhibition will be accessible to the visitors free of charge during the opening hours of the library, i.e. Monday to Thursday 10 am – 7:30 pm, Friday 10 am – 5:30 pm and Saturday 10 am – 2 pm.
