
Czech films at CPH PIX 2017

International Film Festival CPH PIX 2017 is taking place in Copenhagen on 27 September – 11 October, introducing three Czech films.
The award-winning film Ice Mother (2017) by director Bohdan Sláma was selected for the festival program. This film will represent Czech cinematography at the 90th anniversary of the Academy Awards, which will take place on 4 March 2018 in Los Angeles. The festival will also present Czech-Slovak drama Filthy (2017), which is the first feature film by director Tereza Nvotová. In addition to these films, will the debut film Out (2017) by Hungarian director György Kristóf, which was co-produced by Hungary, Slovakia and the Czech Republic, be screened at the festival.
CPH PIX is Denmark’s biggest feature film festival and focuses primarily on finding new talents. Every year, the festival displays the best debut films from all over the world.
