Ambassador's visit to Southern Jutland

On 16 – 17 March 2016 the Czech Ambassador Jiří Brodský will be visiting Southern Jutland for the meetings with representatives from public, corporate and academic sector in the Aabenraa, Sønderborg and Tønder regions. He will be accompanied by the Honorary Consul for Fyn and Jutland Niels A. Brøchner.
 

On Wednesday 16 March the Ambassador will meet the CEO of Eurowagon at its headquarters in Fredericia. Eurowagon is a manufacturer and a supplier of light-weight fully insulated trailer solutions, primarily in the event and construction industries, and has its production facilities in the Czech Republic. Ambassador's next stop will be Aabenraa where he is going to discuss possible future cooperation with the representatives of the Abena concern, a major producer of sanitary and health-care products. Afterwards, he is going to have a lecture at the University of Southern Denmark in Sønderborg with the title "Czech Republic, Visegrad and the European Union Today". The lecture is a part of the activities of the Czech Presidency of the Visegrad Group (V4) and will be followed by a discussion with the students.

On Thursday 17 March, the Ambassador is going to visit Sønderborg, where he will discuss with the representative of the local Chamber of commerce Finn Märcher and the Mayor of Sønderborg Erik Lauritzen. In Nordborg will the Ambassador discuss with representatives of Danfoss, which is one of the the largest and most important companies in the region of southern Jutland. The final destination is Tønder, where the Ambassador is going to hold a meeting with the Mayor Laurids Rudebeck and the Director of Tønder Chamber of commerce Mikkel Johansen.
