Make an appointment for groups

Group appointments are determined for organized travelers such as tourists with travel agency or athletes with a sport club or a national team or attendees of cultural events taking a place in the Czech Republic.

Conditions for booking an appointment for groups:


1) Emails delivered to the email inbox cairo.schengen@mzv.gov.cz before the start of registration will not be considered.

2) Each group can send only one request. If multiple emails are sent for same group within a week, the group will be automatically excluded from registration, even if the emails are sent from different email addresses. 
3) Please be aware that the waiting period for a group appointment might be 4 - 6 weeks and the group shall be submitted no later than 15 days prior to the expected journey. We advise to send the group appointment request at least 8 weeks prior to the journey.
4) Citizens of countries other than Egypt, Sudan, Eritrea, Yemen and Palestine can participate in the group only if they have been living in Egypt for more than 6 months based on non-touristic residence permit. 


Content Conditions of the Registration Email:

1) The registration email must be sent to the following email address:

If the email is addressed to any other embassy email addresses in the CC field, it will be considered invalid and will be immediately discarded.


2) The e-mail must include following information:


1) The subject of the email should contain the name of the group.
2) The body of the email should contain a brief explanation of the intended trip and the travel dates.
3) The group must contain a minimum of 10 travelers and a maximum of 35 travelers. The email must contain a table in PDF format including the name, passport number, arrival and departure dates.
4) The travel dates for the group must be identical, and the itinerary must be the same for all travelers.

Important notice:


- Group appointment e-mail requests that will not follow the above-mentioned instruction or will contain the attachment in different than above-mentioned format or will contain attachments exceeding the total of 2 MB per e-mail, will be considered invalid!
- The Embassy, upon receiving a valid request, confirms the appointment via e-mail. Appointments are granted exclusively according to the order of the incoming e-mails in the mailbox. The appointment date for submitting an application will be confirmed by e-mail in 15 days.
- Please note that attempts to send bulk registrations using software tools may be evaluated as spam by the antispam security of the domain mzv.gov.cz in the interest of ensuring the system's functionality for all applicants, resulting in such registrations being disregarded. Registration emails from senders who have activated the inability to reply in copy to the registration email will be excluded from registration.
- Failure to meet the above-mentioned requirements and conditions will result in an invalid registration, which will not be considered and will be excluded from processing without further response to the email.
- Appointment dates and the list of names provided are final and unchangeable. Travelers who are unable to attend the group appointment cannot be replaced by others. If one of the travelers’ cancels, a new appointment must be arranged following the procedure for individual appointments. On the day of the appointment, if the group does not meet the minimum requirement of 10 travelers, the appointment will be canceled.
