Applications for Schengen visas are accepted only for the following purposes:

Official trips

Family members of EU citizens 

Visits based on invitations from close family members who hold long-term residence permits in the Czech Republic (applies only to parents, children and spouses)

Invitations for work (business) trips

Educational stays

Citizens of Syria with a residence permit in Lebanon (minimum 1 year) apply for Schengen visas for one of the above purposes through the VFS Global visa center in Beirut.

Applications for long-term visas and stays are submitted by these applicants in person at the Embassy.
