Seasonal Employment

Registration to apply for a long-stay visa for the purpose of seasonal employment for July and August 2026

On June 1, 2026, from 8.30 a.m. to 14.30 p.m. (local Turkish time), registration will take place to receive long-term visa applications for the purpose of seasonal employment for the term July and August 2026.

1. Send a registration email to the following email address: ankara.seasonal@mzv.gov.cz on the above-mentioned date at the above-mentioned time.* The registration email must be addressed directly to the specified email address intended for registration (i.e. the given email address must not be sent only in the copy of the registration email).

2. Indicate your passport number in the email subject line.

3. In the body of the email, include the following information:

full name (as it appears on your travel document),

date of birth,

passport number,

telephone number,

e-mail address.

4. Attach the following documents to the e-mail (in .pdf format):

a scan of the passport data page,

a scan of the document proving the purpose of stay - a work permit issued by the Labour Office of the Czech Republic,

a scan of the document regarding the place of residence (permanent residence) and other addresses within the consular district of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Ankara (Yerleşim yeri (ikametgah) in adas adres belgesi).

5. Applicants who are not citizens of the countries belonging to the territorial jurisdiction of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Ankara must also attach residence permit proving that they are staying in Türkiye for at least the two years preceding the application. If residence cannot be proven, the applicant must submit the application in their home country.

6. 1 applicant = 1 e-mail. Submit only one email per applicant. Only one applicant can be submitted in each email. Due to the strong anti-spam protection of the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs, we recommend sending the application for each applicant from a different email address.

7. Your e-mail will be processed electronically by a system based on a randomized element.

8. The following emails will be disqualified from the registration process:

(i) emails that are not sent in the format specified in points 1-3,

(ii) emails that do not include the attachments referred to in point 4,

iii) emails in which the applicant attempts to register multiple applicants in one submission** ,

(iv) emails that are sent multiple times by one applicant,

v) emails sent outside the specified registration period,

vi) emails with attachments larger than 10 MB.

9. Wait for the confirmation. The Embassy will inform you within 7 days whether or not a submission date has been assigned.

10. If you do not receive confirmation of an assigned appointment within 7 days, it implies that your registration for an appointment was either unsuccessful or was not sent in accordance with the terms and conditions of the registration process.

11. The assigned date cannot be changed. If you fail to show up for your appointment, the assigned date becomes invalid. If you arrive late without prior apology, your appointment will also be cancelled - in such a case, the Embassy will proceed with other applicants who arrived on time.

Current average waiting time for submission of the application: 3 - 7 weeks

Number of applications accepted for a given period: 2 (1 in July, 1 in August)

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Electronic registration contains a random element, i.e. requests for appointments are NOT processed in chronological order. All requests sent in the specified manner, on the specified date and within the specified time frame, have an equal chance of being granted an appointment.  In the event of successful registration, the applicant will be notified of the specific date of application by email sent to the contact email address provided in the order. The appointment is fixed and cannot be changed under any circumstances.

*The email addresses provided are for visa/residency application appointments only. They are not intended for general communication or answering inquiries.

**Applicants acknowledge that the mzv.gov.cz email domain is protected by advanced cybersecurity systems. Therefore, emails identified as spam (in the case of multiple emails sent from one email address) or potentially harmful, those exhibiting signs of automated mass distribution, originating from IP addresses or domains on security blacklists, or those failing to meet or exceeding the established security parameters of the domain, may be excluded from the registration process. The use of automated tools, bots, scripts, or any other software for mass distribution of registration emails will be classified as a cyber threat, and such emails will be excluded from registration
